TILER PECK’S WEDDING IN NYC

Just like the famous ballet, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, prima ballerina at the New York City Ballet Tiler Peck married Roman Julian Mejia, also principal dancer at the acclaimed ballet company, in a whimsical celebration.

Tiler Peck, principal ballerina at the New York City Ballet since 2009, married her partner in profession, Roman Julian Mejia, also principal male dancer at the same ballet company. The couple’s love didn’t really start sparking until CEO & Creative Designer Justin Alexander asked Tiler to choreograph a dance film for the Justin Alexander Signature Spring 2022 bridal presentation. The prima ballerina called Roman to be her partner in the film where they performed a couple getting married. It was until that moment when both dancers realized they had a strong attraction for each other.

As you will imagine, Justin Alexander designed Tiler’s two wedding dresses, one for the ceremony and the second look for her reception. Of course, Justin Alexander attended their wedding celebrated in New York, marking a full circle moment in Tiler Peck’s relationship with the bridal brand. Who would have ever though that a Justin Alexander project would mark the dancers path of becoming partners in life.

For her wedding ceremony, celebrated at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Tiler’s custom Justin Alexander Signature ivory gown with off-the-shoulder swags and a sweeping train embellished with 3-D florals and appliqué leaves, was paired with a two-tier blusher veil.

For her second look, Tiler wore a lace strapless gown from Lillian West, a Justin Alexander Group’s brand, matching perfectly with the venue’s romantic vibe, the Tavern on the Green.

The flawless wedding was planned by Tiler’s long time friend Claudia Hanlin, principal at the Wedding Library.
