FRANCESCA ALLEN MARRIES IN LONDON
Francesca Allen marries Ed Crossan in a chic civil ceremony in London.

Francesca Allen, best known for her appearance on Love Island Series 5, has tied the knot with her long-time beau, Ed Crossan, in an elegant civil ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London.
For her wedding day, Francesca chose a chic, sculpted gown by renowned British bridal designer Caroline Castigliano. The made-to-order column wedding dress is crafted from luxurious Italian fabric, featuring a sophisticated yet alluring neckline enhanced by an elongated bow. At the back, the gown is finished with elegant high ball buttons running the full length of the dress, creating a beautifully refined silhouette.
As with every Caroline Castigliano gown, Francesca’s dress was individually crafted at the designer’s atelier in Harlaxton, Lincolnshire, bringing together meticulous craftsmanship and timeless British bridal style.

A COUTURE WEDDING DRESS TAILORED TO PERFECTION
“Francesca chose the Day Dream gown from our Classic collection – she was then fully measured for a pattern to be created to her exact proportions, and the gown was created in Italian crepe cady. For Francesca’s dress we added high ball buttons to the top of the back slit – this looked fabulous in her photographs”. – Caroline Castigliano

“The construction of the gown follows our traditional couture techniques, creating a sculpting corset – fused with a figure hugging pencil styled skirt”. added Caroline Castigliano

THE COMEBACK OF THE BRIDAL HAT
One of the most striking elements of Francesca’s bridal look was her wide-brimmed hat, which perfectly complemented the sculptural simplicity of her gown, Day Dream.
“Francesca’s hat designed by Awon Golding Millinery, was perfect for her wedding gown, Day Dream. It really was a nod to Bianca Jagger – chic and stylish. The wide brim framed her face beautifully, and the soft tulle added romance. Teamed with our figure-hugging gown, she looked incredible,” commented Caroline Castigliano.
Once reserved for the most traditional of bridal ensembles, the wedding hat is enjoying a fashionable revival, offering modern brides an alternative to the classic veil or traditional headpiece.
As Caroline Castigliano explains: “It feels less like wearing a traditional bridal headpiece and more like making a considered fashion choice. Brides don’t want to abandon romance, just interpret it in a way that is more personal and fashion-led”.

Francesca’s bridal look is a perfect example of this new approach to bridal styling – combining the timeless romance of couture with a confident, fashion forward sensibility. She completed her chic look with Chanel pumps and Boodles jewellery. The perfect nod to her bridal beauty look is a Guerlain Rouge G, engraved on the case with the caption “Mrs Crossan”.

After the civil ceremony, the couple hosted an intimate reception with close friends and family at 34 Maryfair restaurant where the enjoyed a fine dinning experience and danced non stop until the end of their dream day.
