THE DIOR BEES EN PROVENCE
The pollination season is here and Dior Maison presents the Dior Bees en Provence collection.
Christian Dior’s affectionate nickname for his seamstresses*, the bee has become one of the House’s signature emblems. Today, Cordelia de Castellane celebrates this lucky charm with the Dior Bees en Provence collection. It appears on earthenware plates in soft honey tones, highlighted with gold on crystal pieces – such as glasses, votive candle holders, salt and pepper shakers – or rattan decorative objects and tableware.
Plexiglass creations from the Cannage Provence line as well as a new series of striped glasses – made in Italy – in the baroque style, also complete this universe.
*In his memoirs, Monsieur Dior wrote of the iconic address at 30 Avenue Montaigne: “A small beehive full to bursting, that’s what my house was when I presented my first collection.”
