“I first came across dresses from Galia Lahav by chance through instagram, followed the page, but did not know much about wedding dresses, and never imagined purchasing a dress from Galia Lahav. I actually went to another bridal shop, bought a wedding dress and thought I was done. HOWEVER, I was always drawn back to the dress Maya from Galia Lahav and couldn’t stop thinking about the dress. So one day, I thought I would just look up the nearest location to try it on, and found James Kinsley in Walnut Creek, California. After trying it on, I fell absolutely in love with the Maya dress!
The quality of the material, the fit (even though it didn’t fit me all the way, since it was a sample), the details and hand crafted design made me truly feel like a real bride, compared to the dress I had already purchased from a different brand. Fast forward to my wedding, it was the perfect and most dreamy dress, I got so many compliments about how unique and gorgeous the dress was”.

The Galia Lahav Maya gown is a fitted, semi-sheer , mermaid silhouette with light 3-D embroidered flowers over silk tulle, accentuating the neckline with off-the-shoulders straps and at the back a low illusion design and sheer inserts on the sides that flow into a dramatic caviar tulle train. “Jose and I met online a few years ago and started hiking together. Through the challenging adventures we did, we built a friendship and fell in love after spending time together, we are both best of friends. When he finally proposed, we found our dream venue at Nestldown, Los Gatos, California. It had the perfect setting with beautiful tall redwood trees, lots of flowers and very natury, so we wanted to share our love and marriage with our closest friends and families there, as it was fitting for our love for nature and hiking”.

“Our wedding day was magical, with a ceremony under the redwood trees, followed by cocktail hours in the beautiful property, train ride, and dinner on the lawn, followed by dancing in the barn adorned with a beautiful chandelier. It was the perfect combination to celebrate our love story and I’m so glad I went with Galia Lahav Maya dress, it made me feel like a princess and it was fitting for the property that is like a fairytale”.
