A selection of marvelous designs that usher in a new era and showcase the passion of Alessandra Rinaudo, the brand’s Chief Artistic Officer, for creativity, craftsmanship and couture design in her first collection for the firm.
International top model Blanca Padilla is the star of the collection, wearing breathtaking designs inspired by the most striking Hollywood stars and their stunning gowns. Rinaudo has not only reinterpreted the most iconic designs of the Maison but also incorporated and engineered an unbelievable inner corset made of transparent nylon and soft boning that ensure perfect comfort in each of these designs.
The new collection introduces the following novel details:
REINVENTED RUFFLES: The word “ruffle” takes on new meaning in exquisite reinventions of the use of this decorative detail. Waves are sculpted in tiers of mikado stuffed with pinched tulle for maximum volume, and new laser-cut panels are used to fashion ruffles in layers to transform sleeves into voluminous wings.
BEJEWELLED MASTERY: The designs feature striking hand-sewn gemstone embroidery that turns them into authentic gems. Fully beaded gowns with thousands of geometric crystals and shimmering silvery bustiers with intertwining organic patterns, and three-dimensional adornments that blend in with the silky draped satin.
AN EXCEPTIONALLY LONG SLEEVE: With a variety of ingenious volumes, the puffed and padded sleeves are a stellar element of these tuxedo-style designs tailored in crepe, adorned with floral embroidery, complemented by a cape with a long train, or sculpted in rose-gold micro- beading.
