For the 2024 Cruise collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri presented in Mexico, Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior makeup, created a pure look with the emphasis on a fresh and luminous complexion, “A complexion as fresh as the morning dew was subtly heightened on the cheekbones. Eyebrows were dense and structured to create a confident eye.” he explained.

Peter Philips describes “Dense eyebrows, brushed and structured with Diorshow brow styler and Diorshow on set brow. Eyelids were made up very lightly with the Diorshow 5 couleurs 649 nude dress palette. Eyes were subtly accentuated and opened up with a touch of Diorshow iconic overcurl 090 black mascara applied at the root of the lashes, as well as a few imperceptible touches of Diorshow on stage crayon 099 black eyeliner also at the roots of the upper lashes”.

Peter Philips described “a dewy complexion” obtained by prepping the skin with Dior capture totale le sérum followed by Dior backstage face & body primer which blurs the skin texture. Next I evened out the complexion with Dior backstage face & body foundation, then added touch-ups with Dior backstage face & body flash perfector concealer. For the finishing touch, I applied a light, subtle and rosy dusting of Dior rosy glow 012 rosewood to the cheekbones.”

The lips were subtly heightened with Dior addict lip glow 012 rosewood which revives the natural lip colour.

The nails looked natural in Dior vernis 108 Muguet.

The hair was parted in the centre and separated into two plaits that were then intertwined down the back.
