Dinner En Blanc…

So this is where all the Angels hang out…?  Thousands of Vancouverites gathered at David Lamb Park, a few weeks ago, to celebrate the 3rd Annual Diner En Blanc.  I have to say,  it was a wonderful way to spend a Thursday evening with friends!  Could you imagine this being your wedding?  In a much smaller scale, I think it would be perfect!

Media were treated to complimentary refreshments and delicious aperitifs provided by Hawksworth Restaurant (thank you!), while guests attending the massive picnic arrived prepared with their tables, chairs, food and wine, to broke bread together.  Many tables had decorative centerpieces and beautiful desserts and cakes, while some attendees even brought their furry friends including white doves!  If a picnic in the park with 3,500 people wasn’t entertaining enough, live performances, dancers, stilt walker and musicians, adding a magical quality to the evening for all to enjoy.

 

It was lovely bumping into some industry friends like Natasha Frankowski of Greenscape Design & Decor with her friend Bianca Brian.

Blush Bridal’s Monti Samuel and Coco Events & Weddings , Lara Holt-Taylor made quite a statement with these lovely wedding gowns and head pieces!

The lovely and oh so talented, Elsa Corsi, is sparkling, as per usual, in her beautiful jewellery.  A popular jewellery choice among many of the guests, including me!

Merci and congratulations to the Diner En Blanc organizers Tyson Villeneuve & Jordan Killman for pulling off a lovely event.  It was a memorable evening with friends, fashion, fantasy and fun.
