Sparkling Hibiscus-Rose Frosting

1 cup plus 1 tbsp. sparkling wine – 2 sticks butter, softened – 2.5 cups confectioners’ sugar – 2 tbsp Wild Hibiscus Rose Syrup

In small saucepan simmer 1 cup sparkling wine; reduce to 2 tablespoons.  Transfer to cup to cool. Cream butter with powdered sugar and rose syrup.  When frosting is thick and fluffy, pour in reduced wine plus 1 tbsp and mix well. Frost your favorite vanilla cupcakes. Decorate with hibiscus flower, mint sprig and edible pearls.


Hibiscus Embrace

2 oz Vodka – 2 oz Pear Nectar – 1/4 oz hibiscus syrup -1/4 oz fresh lime juice – 2 basil leaves – Splash soda water – Wild Hibiscus Flower – Fresh pear spear, 3” long and ½” wide.

Shake first 5 ingredients on ice. Strain over crushed ice in a martini glass and top with a splash of soda. Push long pear spear through hibiscus flower and lay on the inside of glass for edible garnish.
