When we opened the door to our suite, we found rose petals scattered across the floor, flickering e-candles casting a soft glow, and a bottle of wine waiting on the table. The room felt less like a hotel and more like a little sanctuary. Later, wrapped in each other’s arms, we slipped into our private hot tub on the patio. The stars stretched endlessly above us, the night air crisp against our cheeks, laughter echoing softly between sips of wine. There was nothing else in the world but us.
