The options are booking the Flying Whale Café or the entire building with the choice of a standing reception or a seated dinner (you can bring the outside catering of your choice).
Flawlessly organized, upon arrival you and your guests will be directed to a preliminary screening of a short film, beautifully created in striking animation, the preamble to the adrenaline accelerated film. (We won’t give it all away but while watching the animated film you will feel connected to Canada’s ancestors and the privilege that we all have when we visit or live in this diverse nation).
Shortly after, staff courteously escorts you and guests to a numbered lane for groupings, then they take the group to find your seats and make sure that you are buckled in properly to enjoy the flight!
THE FILM
Awaken Canada takes you on a captivating journey flying over the country’s spectacular landscapes. Soar above majestic Baffin Island, through the sails of the historic Bluenose II ship and across the expansive Prairies. Ascend Mt. Logan, explore the Athabasca Sand Dunes and accompany world-class athletes as the take on challenging terrain. Follow the path of a skier in the famous streets of Old Quebéc and even take a dive to swim with belugas!

David Mossop, the film’s writer and director, shared “For many Canadians home is built upon an appreciation of many cultures coming together, an awareness of Canada’s vast diverse landscapes, and a collective personality built on tenacity, kindness, and respect. Ninety-nine per cent of people will never get to see much of this huge country, especially the Arctic. We hope this visceral and expansive experience awakens a newfound reverence for, and connection to, the magnificent place we call home.”
Flyover collaborated with Parks Canada for this production, ensuring the health and safety of all adventurers, communities, and wildlife. All filming requirements were fully respected, with all athletic feats performed by professionals.
