DIOR HOLIDAY 2023 MAKE UP

Every year Dior Makeup delights the world of beauty lovers with a limited edition created to celebrate the festive gifting season, this year’s collection is exceptional, dressed in beautiful cases and embellished with the most luxurious and delicate motifs, each product is the perfect and ultimate gift to deliver joy.

A winter’s escapade in the heart of Paris, for a magical moment in the royal Tuileries gardens as the snow falls. The scene is set for this year’s holiday season by the House of Dior.

“ Christian Dior drew his inspiration from gardens, especially the Tuileries, the oldest French-style garden in Paris. Today it is still the heartbeat of the City of Lights,” says Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-up.

For this Holiday 2023 collection, Dior Make-up sets the stage for a Christmas fairy tale.

Inspired by the atmosphere, royal architecture and historical gardens of the capital city, Peter Philips composed a rich, elegant and festive collection. The golden hues of Parisian monuments harmonize with pure winter white, while baroque details from the Tuileries appear on cases, and engraved lipstick bullets look like works of art.

 

THE COLLECTION

Luminous Eyes

What setting could be more magical for the holiday collection? By day and by night, the Tuileries Gardens inspired two Diorshow 5 Couleurs palettes in rich and opulent hues. This season’s motif, designed by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo, adorns each palette with a baroque touch, reflecting the flowerbeds of a French garden.

A nocturnal ambience sees the Night Walk palette explore steel, silver, anthracite and platinum greys, set around a golden centre. The radiant shimmering Promenade Dorée borrows its warmer, amber, champagne and bronze hues from the paths of the royal garden.

These colour harmonies inspired by the City of Lights were designed to create looks of either subtle sophistication, or festive extravagance.

Glittering Lips

The limited edition, Rouge Dior Forever Liquid is revealed to be more dazzling and innovative than ever. In its brand-new Sequin finish, it applies ultra-pigmented matte colour to the lips. After a few minutes drying time, lips are pressed together and the magic takes effect, displaying a glittering sequin-look finish.

This transfer-resistant long wear formula provides intense comfort and creates a truly bare-lip feeling while producing a spectacular effect. Its four shades celebrate a festive season that swings from sophistication, with the legendary1 rouge 999 red, to new shades such as Seductive, a rosewood, Fascinating, a brown and Magical, a deep plum.

To enhance the colour, each new shade was created with a subtle blend of made-to-measure pearlescence in silver and gold tones.

The star of the collection

A perfect object of desire and a genuine collector’s piece, the new, limited Rouge Dior Makeup Clutch is inspired by vintage Christian Dior powder compacts. This oblong case designed with pure lines in ridged metallic gold, punctuated only by the silver tone Christian Dior initials, houses three Rouge Dior refills in flamboyant colours. Thanks to its removable tube the Minaudière can be adapted to every mood, and can be carried like a clutch in the hand, or worn on the shoulder using the fine chain.

In tune with the season, four shades of Rouge Dior pay tribute to famous Parisian gardens: Nude Look, a contemporary nude, Icone, an intense rosewood, Classic, an intense pink and 999, the legendary house red.

A floral scent on the lips

Symbolizing the holiday season, Dior Addict reveals its vinyl shine with Jardin Doré, a frosted bronze, for a subtle result designed to suit different skin tones. Its formula infused with floral1 wax hydrates2 the lips for 24h and ensures 6h2 wear.

 

Radiant Rose

Like the roses that bloom in the Tuileries, Rouge Blush heightens the colour of this Holiday collection with its ultra-pigmented formula, and also displays the name Dior framed by baroque motifs. Precious Rose, a nude peach, and Splendid Rose, a rosewood, celebrate the house’s favourite flower.
