Francesca Miranda Fall 2023 couture bridal collection is a contemporary message of love to the modern bride.
Based in Barranquilla, Colombia, Francesca Miranda celebration of contemporaneity, understood as multiple, simultaneous perspectives on art and love. With both, a latin-rooted appreciation for femininity, and a witty understanding of the evolving cosmopolitan, the fashion designer introduces her eclectic vision of romance through 10 wedding gowns in her fall 2023 couture bridal collection.
The carefully-constructed selection features double-faced, hand-embroidered tulles, silk taffetas, guipure laces, and embellished organzas, along with hand-painted Japanese pearls. Miranda also resorts to her signature bridal-versatility with dresses that transform: with couture add-ons such as removable veils and tails and fresh new takes on sleeves and gloves, each number is as unique as it is fun and functional.
Though distant enough from each other as to cater to many different brides, the entire round up manages to speak the same love language, an affirmation fest which in the words of Pablo Neruda, could whisper something like “debajo de tu piel, vive la luna”.
