It was in early Spring 2023 when our editors were invited to discover Clarins Men Shave & Beard range, at a location (in Vancouver) that was top secret. They advised all invites not to disclose it in social media any information about the venue. Escorted from the underground parking lot through elevators, security points and all the way to the place where we would learn about the new range and meet the ambassador of the French beauty brand for the Men division, Canadian NFL Athlete and Super Bowl winner Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. THE FORMULA
At the heart of this high performance, easy to apply plant based formula there are two main ingredients that characterize the Clarins Men complex: extract of gymnema and bison grass to stimulate and preserve men’s skin. In this range, the addition of organic black currant bud extract combined with the Clarins Men complex ingredients deliver a soothing therapeutic result that works as a protective shield on the skin.

THE RANGE
Smooth Shave Foaming Gel delivers a close, clean, easy shave. It foams immediately on application, softening the beard hair to prepare it for the razor, giving a smooth feel to the skin after shave. Barber TIP: Add a few drops pf the Shave + Beard Oil to the foam to ensure an even smoother glide over the beard hair. It can be used daily by rubbing a few drops between the palms and applied to the beard to revitalize it.
Shave + Beard Oil is a 2-in-1 product with plant extracts, with lightweight texture and irresistible light fragrance, for a neat, perfectly groomed, silky-soft beard. Non-oily and non-sticky, it leaves no oily film on the skin. Our Editor-in Chief, Gordon Cooper, has a favourite ritual to use only the oil for a very, very close shave. For daily beard care: contains mastic extract to strengthen hair and castor oil to soften the beard.
