Since its founding in 1828, Guerlain has nurtured a close relationship with art. L’Art & La Matière collection is all about olfactory masterpieces inspired by the emotions evoked by works of art.

This year Guerlain has partner with Maison Matisse , founded by the grandson of Henri Matisse, one of the greatest painters of the 20th century who is considered the “painter of happiness”. The Maison is dedicated to design home collections inspired by the French painter’s art following the same principals of the application of vibrant colours..

For the collaboration with L’Art & La Matière collection, Maison Matisse created precious editions. Inspired by “Les Mille et Une Nuits” masterpiece signed by Henri Matisse in 1950, hearts, jasmine blossoms and leaves come together to adorn a new fragrance, an olfactory painting that brings the perfume to life.

The new Jasmin Bonheur fragrance case and the plate on its stopper showcases the most exquisite adornment. Its joyful design is also echoed on a Maison Matisse Edition of the Figue Azur candle.

THE SCENT

Jasmin Bonheur marks the first time a jasmine fragrance has been added to Guerlain’s L’Art & La Matière collection. A colourful take on jasmine tinged with bright shades of radiantly orange apricot notes, vibrant purple-coloured iris and soft rose pink, this new olfactory creation is inspired by Henri Matisse’s bold colour palette.

THE DESIGN, THE BOTTLE & PERSONALIZE OPTION

Adorning the Jasmin Bonheur bottle, the Maison Matisse Edition exceptional plate playfully presents an embossed version of this Guerlain exclusive motif which appears as if painted onto the ceramic surface. Each requiring several hours of work and made in France in a specialist ceramics workshop. The case is decorated with this same motif to exalt the artist’s most iconic forms and colours. There are only 1000 pieces of the limited-edition.
