MARCHESA for PRONOVIAS ~ THE PERFECT MARRIAGE
Two global bridal brands joined creativity forces to design a new bridal collection: Marchesa for Pronovias.
During a zoom conference hosted by Amandine Ohayon, CEO of Pronovias Group, Georgina Chapman Creative Director & co-founder of Marchesa and Alessandra Rinaudo Chief Creative Director of Pronovias Group presented the new Marchesa for Pronovias collection which pairs New York bridal couture with the passion of Spain. The designs combine the romantic hallmark of Marchesa with Mediterranean sensuality. The collection has been particularly inspired by Seville, referencing its cultural sophistication and seductive light and colour, combined with a passionate flamenco backbeat.
The result bares Marchesa’s indelible signature; striking yet incredibly lightweight constructions using sophisticated layering techniques. Styles are embellished with handmade, 3D floral applique, and Marchesa’s famous corset bodices that are adored by celebrities. In a bid to dress the dreams of all brides, the gowns retail at a more accessible price point than Marchesa couture, in line with the usual Pronovias price-point.
In the collection, the princess-style wedding dress makes a stunning entrance with CARRASCO and MARISOL, which both feature majestic, layered tulle skirts on sophisticated silhouettes spun with delicate floral applique, making them totally unique. For a dazzling mermaid look, PAULANDA has precise Andaluz influences in its gorgeous fishtail train dripping with floral applique and wide transparent sleeves, styled with the flair of a flamenco costume. Crafted in mikado, FERNANDA is a princess gown with a pronounced V neck and a fabulous back adorned with an oversized embroidered bow whose tails fall gently to form a train.
Marchesa for Pronovias is a true celebration of Marchesa’s signature handwriting, which is infused with femininity, romance, and undeniable glamour. The wedding gowns embody couture craftsmanship with luxury fabric treatments like layered guipure and ruffled Chantilly. Designed for all body types, they guarantee every woman will feel sublime on her wedding day.
The collection will be available in all Pronovias stores and selected wholesalers around the world with prices ranging from $2,000 to $4,000.
