REEM ACRA – SPRING 2021 COUTURE

Fashion designer Reem Acra presents her Spring 2021 Couture collection: The Love and Dreem.

Captured beautifully by two photographers that Reem Acra‘s admires the most, Ruven Afanador and Fadi Acra, The Love and Dreem collection is inspired in different cultures, beliefs and traditions around the world.

All the head pieces are designed, created and executed by Reem Acra. The gold embroidery is recycled. The necklaces are part of Reem Acra’s personal collection started as a young teen.

NATIVE AMERICAN

The golden halo was also created for the campaign shoot. Traditionally in some cultures it served as a sense of protection. Reem felt it was appropriate to reimagine this at this very sensitive moment in time. Traditionally it is meant to reflect the sun and bring light into a couple’s new world. Throughout the collection rich textiles, embroidered laces, and hand made embroideries were used in different silhouettes from slim to ball gowns. Hundreds of hours of hand work and thousands of spools of silk thread in different shades of white, as well as pearls, crystals and 3D embroidered flowers were put in with love to create the collection. In addition to the special couture gowns there is a range of dresses in the full collection for brides to choose from. REEM DREEM
